Leadership Team Gary Robinson Gary Robinson is responsible for the Retiree Services business at WageWorks. In four years with the company, he has been a key force in building an extensive list of marquee clients, and was instrumental in WageWorks' launch of its market-leading health care savings and spending solutions. His problem-solving, data-driven approach to building client relationships has helped the company grow from an startup to an industry leader serving more than a million consumers. Robinson's unique background and skills complement WageWorks' innovative approach. In addition to a record of success as a senior sales executive in outsourced business services for PeopleSoft and Oracle, his experience spans engineering and business consulting roles. His engineering background gives him a highly analytical, quantitative approach to solving problems. Expertise as a business consultant allows him to understand and articulate business problems with the same clarity and rigor. Robinson's ability to show clients exactly what WageWorks can do in the context of their business situation and needs has driven WageWorks' success in a market traditionally dominated by a few large players. Before joining WageWorks, Robinson served as the senior sales executive for the Applications Services Provider (ASP) businesses at both PeopleSoft and Oracle Corporation. As vice president and general manager of PeopleSoft's ASP unit, he helped develop their industry-leading application hosting business. As group vice president of sales and marketing for Oracle's ASP business, he crafted its market-entry strategy and secured its first Fortune 500 clients for hosted services. Prior to these positions, he served in sales roles for Silicon Graphics, as a business consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, and as an analyst and consultant for Arthur Andersen. Robinson holds an MBA, a Masters of Science in Material Science and Engineering, and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all from Stanford University. |
