Kathleen McElwee
Chief Financial Officer

Kathleen McElwee oversees all of WageWorks' financial operations and supports the company's strategy of sustained, profitable growth. She brings to WageWorks a range of expertise in helping innovative companies grow, including strategic planning, integrating acquisitions, raising significant investment capital, and streamlining financial operations.

McElwee has more than 25 years of finance experience in several software and consumer-product companies, including experience managing high-volume transaction processing environments. Prior to joining WageWorks she was CFO for VA Software, a publicly-held online media, software, and e-commerce leader in community-driven Open Source innovation. Previously she held Vice President and CFO positions in a number of companies, including 8 years as a public company CFO.

McElwee holds an MBA at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA from Pennsylvania State University.
