Richard M. Berkeley

Richard M. Berkeley has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2005, and as a member of our nominating and corporate governance committee since July 2005. Mr. Berkeley has served as a managing member of Camden Partners Holdings, LLC, a growth private equity firm, since October 2002, where he focuses on investments in the business and financial services, healthcare and education markets. Prior to joining Camden Partners, Mr. Berkeley spent 19 years with Alex. Brown & Sons, Incorporated and its successor organizations, Bankers Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and consummation of private equity financings for public and private companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of on demand software solutions for the rental housing industry, and on the boards of directors of a number of private companies, educational institutions and charitable organizations. Mr. Berkeley served as an officer in the United States Air Force between 1974 and 1976. He received an M.B.A., a J.D. and a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia.
