Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)

Take Advantage of Employer-Funded Health Accounts With a WageWorks HRA

A Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) is an excellent benefit option more and more employers are offering every day. With an HRA, employers fund a health account that you can access to get reimbursed for eligible medical expenses.  An HRA can work as a standalone benefits account, or it can work in conjunction with a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), although you can’t be reimbursed twice for the same expense. In addition, any remaining funds in an HRA may be rolled over to the next year.*

Example HRA Savings

Employer contributions* $1,000.00
Eligible health expenses*
Dental care $500.00
Prescription drugs $200.00
Other eligible health care expenses $300.00
Total paid with employer-funded HRA $1,000.00

* Please review your employer’s HRA plan companion guide for plan specifics, including how much your employer contributes and to see all of the expenses covered.
