WageWorks Social Media

Terms and Conditions

Thank you for connecting with WageWorks.

We understand that when we talk about your benefits, we are often touching on subjects that are sensitive and important – such as health, finances, and family circumstances. Please understand that federal laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires us to protect the privacy and refrain from discussing any individual’s health information in public or non-secure channels.

As you engage with us through social media, please do:

  • Prepare to use direct messaging, so we can protect your privacy and communicate with you in a private, one on one environment, depending on the nature of your question.
  • Like, retweet, share content you find interesting, helpful, or valuable and want to see more of.
  • Share information you think your friends, family, and colleagues may find interesting and beneficial.
  • Comment back and share your perspective, insights, and experiences in a positive and encouraging manner.

And to maintain a positive and helpful environment on our social media properties, please do not:

  • Post material that infringes on the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Post material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful, or embarrassing to any other person or entity.
  • Post advertisements or solicitations of business.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Allow any other person or entity to use your identification for posting or viewing comments.
  • Post the same note more than once or "spam."

We also welcome your constructive feedback. We have a few general guidelines we expect everyone to follow during our online conversations:

  • Treat everyone with respect, even if there is a disagreement.
  • Do not post material that could be considered confidential information by others or an infringement on the rights of others.
  • Please be careful when posting any information about your personal circumstances or that of any others.

We are here to help and make every effort to deliver accurate, timely and helpful information. This information is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. Please consult your individual plan documentation or benefits specialist to verify the exact details of your benefits program.
