You and/or your spouse/domestic partner can submit up to $600 of eligible fitness expenses to receive a 50% reimbursement from Fidelity, for a maximum reimbursement of $300 per calendar year. Multiple claims can be filed in a calendar year.

How Does It Work?

You can submit up to $600 of eligible expenses to receive a 50% reimbursement from Fidelity, up to a maximum reimbursement of $300 per calendar year.

  • Items listed for reimbursement must benefit an eligible associate and/or a spouse or domestic partner of a Fidelity associate.
  • Expenses must be submitted by March 15 of the following calendar year. For example: Expenses incurred between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 can be submitted for reimbursement until March 15, 2017.

Examples of eligible expenses include (not an exhaustive list):

  • Fitness Center, Club or Studio Membership
  • Group Fitness Classes
  • Home Fitness Equipment
  • Personal Training Fees & Fitness Counseling Fees
  • Sports League or Lessons Fees
  • Fitness Tracking – Annual Limit of 2

- Physical Activity Tracking Devices (accelerometers, e.g Jawbone, Fitbit) 

- Smartwatches primarily designed for fitness tracking with no communication response capabilities (e.g., Garmin-Vivoactive)

Who Is Eligible For Fitness Reimbursement?

In general, you are eligible to participate in the Fitness Reimbursement Program if you are a regular employee regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours a week. In addition, the Program is available to spouses or domestic partners.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ASSOCIATES ON A LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA): Associates on a company-approved LOA are eligible for the program; however are not eligible to receive a reimbursement until they return to an active status.  Associates should submit their reimbursement claim when they return from leave, provided they return by March 15 of the following year.  If a claim has been submitted and processed while on a company-approved LOA, the reimbursement will be held by WageWorks and will be released to Payroll when the associate returns from leave, providing they return by the March 15 claim deadline.
