The quickest and easiest way to go green and help your employees save is to offer WageWorks Commuter Benefits.

On March 26, 2014 the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) approved Regulation 14 Rule 1 of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District establishing the Bay Area Commuter Benefits Program. The goal of the program is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants by getting more employers to provide transit commuter benefits to their employees.

Calling All Bay Area Employers

The ordinance calls for businesses with more than 50 full-time employees within the nine Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Marin, Santa Clara, San Mateo and San Francisco) to implement a commuter program for their employees by September 30, 2014.

Easy Compliance and Big Savings

A quick and easy way to comply with the new Bay Area Commuter Benefits Program ordinance is to offer your employees WageWorks Commuter Benefits.
