Key dates and information on using your Commuter Benefits:

  • Your deadline to make an order for the next benefit month: 10th of the month
  • Your payroll deduction deadline: 15th of the month
  • Deductions are taken from the first two pay periods of the month.  In months with three pay periods, nothing is taken the third paycheck
  • If you are a new CCSF employee, you must wait two pay periods to begin your commuter benefits
  • If you change employment and leave CCSF, you have 90 days to use the funds in your Transit account, however, the funds in your Parking account will be forfeited immediately.  If you have unclaimed Parking Pay Me Back claims for elections prior to your day of termination and funds out of the Parking account have been allocated to those elections, you will have six months to claim those funds.
