How the WageWorks Commuter Card Works

The WageWorks® Commuter Card makes it quick and easy to pay for transit fares you use as part of your commute to work. This payment card works seamlessly with the WageWorks EZ Receipts® mobile app for all WageWorks Commuter benefits.

You decide how much money to load onto your card each month to cover your monthly commuting costs. Depending on your employer’s setup, funds are loaded on your WageWorks Commuter Card on either a pay period basis or once a month.

Using Your WageWorks Commuter Card

It’s easy to use the WageWorks Commuter Card. Use the card to buy virtually any type of monthly public transit pass, including bus, light rail, regional rail, streetcar, vanpool, subway, and ferry. If your company offers WageWorks Commuter for Parking, you may also use the card to pay for a wide variety of parking options.
