Where Does the Breeze Card Work?
The Breeze Card works at light bus and rail terminals in the MARTA service area.
Will my Breeze card expire?
Your Breeze card has a life expectancy of 10 years, but your Breeze card must be tapped within 30 to 45 days to continue receiving the calendar month benefit. Cards not used within the first 30 to 45 days of activation will become inactive and require WageWorks to have the card reactivated by MARTA.
How do I use my Breeze Card?
Tap your Breeze card to the reader located on the station entry gate or bus fare box. The device will let you know that your card is accepted. Your Breeze card will open the gate or signal the bus driver that you have an unlimited calendar monthly card. Tap your Breeze card at the fare gate to exit the station.

Does it cost to get a replacement?
There is a $5 replacement card fee
If my Breeze card is not working, what should I do?
If you happen to experience problems using your Breeze card, you can check your card balance at any Breeze Vending Machine (BVM), located in each MARTA station, to ensure that your card is active; the pass appears as “Monthly Calendar”. If your card appears to be inactive and not working at the faregate/farebox, contact WageWorks to complete a troubleshooting form for review and resolution. Once the issue is resolved you may be asked to check your card balance at the BVM to validate the activation
Is there a certain day I need to use my Breeze card by?
Your Breeze card must be tapped within 30 days to continue receiving the calendar month benefit. Cards not used within the first 30 days of activation will become inactive and require WageWorks to have the card reactivated by MARTA.
Can I receive a refund for my Breeze card?
MARTA does not offer refunds for Breeze cards or individual money placed on the Breeze card. Breeze cards issued through WageWorks are intended for use of the calendar monthly pass only. Any additional fares or funds are not eligible for refund by MARTA.
If I keep my Breeze Card next to another smart card will it still work?
Keeping smart cards next to each other will not damage the cards. However, Breeze targets and fare boxes may not be able to read your card when it’s next to another smart card. If this happens, simply separate your Breeze Card from the other card and tap it on the target.
