WageWorks Commuter Card & Breeze Tutorial

Part 1: Ordering, and funding, a WageWorks Visa® Prepaid Commuter Card or a WageWorks MasterCard® Prepaid Commuter Card

The WageWorks Commuter card is a stored-valued card that works like a credit card at transit agency ticket vending machines and ticket windows. In this order path you will be using the Commuter Card as a personal card, to load fares onto your personal Breeze Card.

Step 1: Log onto your account on www.wageworks.com

Step 2: Click on the "Commuter" link. Next, select "Enroll in Commuter" and then "Commuter Transit." Finally select “Marta” as the service provider.

Step 3: Select the “WageWorks Commuter Card” pass product.

Step 4: Select the amount you would like to have on your Commuter Card. To determine this amount, please identify how much you will need to fund your Breeze Card to support your monthly commute needs.

Step 5: Complete your order.

Please note the Commuter Card funds load on the 20th of the month. The value will not be available until that date.

Part 2: Get and Fund a Breeze Card

You can get a Breeze Card online at www.breezecard.com or

Go to: http://www.breezecard.com/htm/howto_purchase_breeze.html to see the locations and times.

Now that you have the WageWorks Commuter Card, with funds available on it, you need to fund the Breeze Card.  You have three main options:

Option 1: Fund the card online

Step 1: It is recommended that you sign up for balance protection.  To do this, go to http://www.breezecard.com/htm/balance_protection.html

Then go to: https://is.breezecard.com/marta/ to sign up for an account

Step 2: Once you have successfully signed up for a Breeze account you can now fund the card online

Click on “Add Trips to Existing Card”

Click on the link that says “Click here to add Breeze Card”

Step 5: Choose the option you want loaded to your Breeze Card

Step 6: Enter the billing information, in this case your Commuter Card number. For billing address please enter your WageWorks Ship to address and click “Submit”

Step 7: Review your order and confirm.

Option 2: Fund the card at a Breeze vending machine.

You can use your Commuter Card to add value to your Breeze Card at any Breeze vending machines. When adding value at a ticket machine, select “Credit” to use your Commuter Card for payment.

Option 3: Visit a participating transit agency ticket office or a Customer Service Center

 

The WageWorks Commuter Prepaid MasterCard is issued by The Bancorp Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to license by MasterCard International Incorporated. Card can be used at qualified locations everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted. Card cannot be used cash access or at ATMs.

The WageWorks Visa Prepaid Commuter Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Card can be used at qualified locations wherever Visa debit cards are accepted. Card cannot be used at any ATM or for cash access.
