No. Balances are reloaded onto employees’ existing cards upon renewal. Choice Strategies cards expire after three years, at which time they are reissued automatically.

They can be submitted anytime, but to ensure your employees are enrollment and receive cards before the plan year begins, we suggest submitting them at least 30 days prior to the plan start date. Please note that cards take approximately 30 days to arrive from receipt of enrollment.

The employer can submit the change to Choice Strategies at any time if they allow post-enrollment plan changes. Use the Change Employee Status eForm to change the employee’s election amount.

Simply let your Client Services Team know and we will update the plan accordingly. You can choose to auto-renew your group’s elections or submit enrollments manually.

Your Employer ID is your unique identifier and can be found on all invoices and viewed when you log in to your online account. It is also on all reports sent to you from Client Services. It always begins with “CHO.” Please contact Client Services if you cannot locate it.

Post-tax contributions are unlimited. We do not place a cap on these.
