Ventra Card Direct Load Tutorial
Part 1: Get a Ventra Card
The first step in the Ventra process is securing a Ventra Card. There are multiple ways you can get a Ventra Card. If you don’t already have a Ventra card you can get a new card in a variety of ways.

Registering a Ventra Card purchased at a vending machine or retailer is easy and gives you immediate access to all the features and benefits of online account management. Registration also protects your card balance if your card is lost or stolen. Register a Card. If you purchased your Ventra Card online, it is registered automatically.
Part 2: Fund your Ventra Card
If you choose to have your Ventra card funded directly by WageWorks, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log onto your account on www.wageworks.com
Step 2: Click on the "Commuter Account" link. Next, select “Place Commuter Order" and then select “Commuter Transit”

Step 3: Select the Ventra service provider.
Step 4: Select the Ventra product you need.

As part of your election you’ll be prompted to provide your Transit ID. The Transit ID is a unique 12-digit number assigned to your Ventra account. All Transit ID’s start with the number "1". Please do not enter the serial number listed on your Ventra card. That is not your Transit ID. WageWorks will be required to provide the Transit ID number as part of the order process. Please be sure to accurately enter your Transit ID as you complete your order. You can find your Transit ID when you log into your Ventra account. It is located on the “Account Summary” page.

Step 5: Complete your order. Your order will be loaded to your card by the 1st of the benefit month.
