General Information

Most Processes are managed by WageWorks

WageWorks Processes

  • Transfer funds
  • Issue replacement cards
  • Identify where your funds are in the credit process
  • Fund your Metrolink Card directly, or fund your WageWorks Visa® Prepaid Commuter Card or a WageWorks MasterCard® Prepaid Commuter Card.
  • Update your pending WageWorks election with a new card number. This must be completed by your Employer cutoff date.
  • Issue a credit to your WageWorks account, if a Metrolink pass was not redeemed.

Metrolink Customer Service

It isn’t likely that you will need to contact the Metrolink Customer Service Department. All customer questions should be directed to WageWorks Customer Service at 1-877-924-3967.

Program Rules

  • The Pass must be redeemed by the 14th of the benefit month
  • Any unredeemed passes will be credited to the participant
  • We guarantee the pass will be loaded by the first of the benefit month - we don’t guarantee it will be loaded before then.
  • If the card is loaded before the 1st of the benefit month you may redeem your pass. Keep in mind monthly passes are valid for 30 days after they have been redeemed

 

The WageWorks Commuter Prepaid MasterCard is issued by The Bancorp Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to license by MasterCard International Incorporated. Card can be used at qualified locations everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted. Card cannot be used cash access or at ATMs.

The WageWorks Visa Prepaid Commuter Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Card can be used at qualified locations wherever Visa debit cards are accepted. Card cannot be used at any ATM or for cash access.

Order Timeline 

The timeline of events is as follows:

  • Your WageWorks order is cutoff by your Employer cutoff date.
  • If you’ve selected an order for a Metrolink pass, your pass will load to your card by the 1st of the benefit month.
  • Once your Metrolink Card has been loaded you can print out your Metrolink pass between the 1st of the benefit month through the 14th of the benefit month.
