  • What is the Metrolink?
    The Metrolink is a 'smart card' that is loaded each month with a pass. The customer must insert their card into a TVM type machine and print out their pass. The customer must keep their pass for the month or 7 Days (amount of time it is valid).
  • Where do I get a Metrolink Card?
    To have your card loaded by WageWorks through our corporate pass program, you must order your Metrolink through WageWorks
  • What type of pass can I have loaded onto my Metrolink?
    Currently Metrolink offers the following types of passes: Monthly Passes, Senior/Disabled Monthly passes, 7 Day passes, Senior/Disabled 7 Day passes
  • Can I use a WageWorks Visa® Prepaid Commuter Card or a WageWorks MasterCard® Prepaid Commuter Card to purchase a Metrolink pass?
    Yes, the WageWorks Commuter Card can be used to purchase a Metrolink pass
  • How do I use my Metrolink Card?
    Just insert your card into a Metrolink TVM and follow the prompts to print out the pass loaded to your card. The pass that is printed is to be used as a paper type pass and is to be kept for the duration of the life of the pass. The Metrolink Card will be loaded each month with the passes ordered from WageWorks.
  • Can a participant use an existing Metrolink card (not issued by WageWorks) or must they order a new Metrolink card when enrolling with WageWorks?
    To have your card loaded by WageWorks through our corporate pass program, you must order your Metrolink Card through WageWorks
  • Does it cost to get a replacement?
    There is a $5 replacement fee for a new Metrolink card.
  • My card doesn’t seem to be working. What can I do?
    If your card stops working, it may be either damaged or defective. You can call our customer service center at 877.924.3967 and request a replacement card.
  • Can I transfer passes from one Metrolink card to another?
    Passes can only be transferred to a WageWorks issued card.
  • I received a new Metrolink Card in the mail, when can I start to use it?
    We do not guarantee the cards will be loaded until the 1st of the actual benefit month each month. However, if the card is loaded by the 25st of the month prior to the benefit month you can redeem the pass. The monthly passes last for the month designated on the pass.
