Premium MetroCard

The Premium TransitChek® MetroCard® features unlimited rides for an entire year.  The Premium TransitChek® MetroCard® is a refillable card so that you do not have to receive a new card every month.  As long as you are enrolled for this card, you can use it continuously for unlimited local rides, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Below is a summary of the key features of the Premium TransitChek MetroCard.  

• Same cost ($116.50) as the 30-day Unlimited Ride MetroCard.
• If you lose your card or your card is stolen, you can get a replacement card from WageWorks.   WageWorks can mail you a replacement or you can pick up a replacement in person at the WageWorks TransitChek offices in Manhattan.  The ability to replace a lost or stolen Unlimited Ride MetroCard is not available for the 30-day Unlimited Ride MetroCard that is being delivered to your home today by WageWorks. 
• No worrying if your 30-day period has expired - your card will work every day of the month as long as you are enrolled in the program.
• Cancel at any time if your commute changes and you don’t need an unlimited ride product. You get the convenience of using the same MetroCard for an entire year without being locked in if your commute changes. 
• Your card works on the transit services* below for an entire year if you stay enrolled in the program.  

- MTA NYC Transit subway and local bus

- MTA Staten Island Railway\Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE Bus)

- Westchester Bee-Line local bus

- Roosevelt Island Tram

 *Please note: this product does not work on MTA Express buses or PATH. 

PMC Timeline

The timeline of events is as follows:

1. Your WageWorks order is cutoff by your Employer cutoff date.

2. Your order will be available by the 1^st of the benefit month. 

3. If you’ve ordered a new Premium TransitChek MetroCard, it will be delivered to you by the 26^th of the month before the 1^st day of the benefit month.  Your new Premium TransitChek^® MetroCard^® will be valid for one year from the 1st day of the benefit month. You can continue to use this card as long as you enrolled for this product option.

4. If your card does not arrive by the 26th of the month prior to the 1st day of the benefit month, please log onto your WageWorks account to request a replacement card. You will be able to select whether you want a replacement card mailed to you or pick up a replacement at the local WageWorks offices. You will not be able to request a replacement before the 26th of the month prior to your first benefit month. Please be aware that there are no reimbursements for the time you are without your Premium TransitChek^® MetroCard^®.
