Back Up Child Care Program reimburses up to $700 for qualified emergency child care expenses.
How Does It Work?
You may be eligible for a reimbursment of up to $600 for emergency Back Up Child Care. Reimbursment is available for child care expenses incurred when a regular child care provider is unavailable. These expenses must be necessary for that employee (and their spouse, if applicable) to come to work on the day when their regular child care provider is not available.
Expenses must be submitted by November 30th to be applied to the current year annual maximum. Any submissions received after November 30th are not guaranteed to be processed towards the current year annual maximum and may be applied towards the following year annual maximum.
