General Information

The TAP card is a smartcard onto which participants can electronically load:

Metro passes

TAP participating regional and local transit system passes

EZ transit passes

Stored Value

or any combination of the four

If a participant registers their card, it provides increased security against loss or theft because the card can be deactivated and replaced with the value remaining at the time of deactivation for a $5 fee.

Participants can Balance Protect their card by going to taptogo.net or calling 866.TAPTOGO (866.827.8646)

TAP Customer Service

The TAPTOGO Customer Service number is 866-TAPTOGO (866.827.8646)

If a participant receives a card that is not working or a TAP Customer Service Representative says there is nothing loaded to the card, they should call WageWorks Customer Service. WageWorks will work with TAP to get funds on the card or if necessary mail out a new card.

Important Reminder: Participant can obtain a TAP card at any TAP vendor locations. The TAP call center can transfer funds from the expiring card to the NEW one for cards obtained at a Metro Service Center.  For cards obtained at a vendor location, participant must contact the TAP call center at 866-TAPTOGO for any necessary transfers. Important Reminder: Participant MUST update the WageWorks site with their NEW TAP card number or WageWorks will not be able to load their order to the NEW card.  This can be accomplished by logging into the WageWorks site or calling WageWorks customer service.
